The Mass. Department of Public Health, Bureau of Substance Addiction Services supports the Institute for Health & Recovery (IHR) to provide the WFRC for referral support and information to anyone in Massachusetts with questions about Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment and recovery supports for pregnant and parenting people.

Plan of Safe Care

Pregnant and postpartum people are encouraged to develop and share a Plan of Safe Care.

individualized resources

The WFRC can connect callers with individualized resources for themselves or those they are supporting. This includes harm reduction, substance use treatment, such as outpatient and residential services, peer recovery support, medical referrals and services for children.
